Two Options for Storage and One for Transportation For Bicycles
![]() |
If you live in an apartment or condominium, chances are you do not have a garage or outside location to store your bicycle. Some of the garage systems would work as an indoor bike rack that fastens to the wall but your best bet would be to get a freestanding indoor bike rack. Most of the freestanding bike racks will hold up to two bicycles, one above the other to help free up floor space and keep your bikes out of the way.
Transportation is another thing for anyone with a bicycle to think about. You have the options of having a roof rack installed on your car or use a trunk rack. For those with trucks and SUVs, you can consider using hitch bike racks. Hitch bike racks are safe and secure, hold two to five bicycles, and can cost around $100 to several hundred dollars.
For outside storage of bicycles or to make a space clear of the clutter, consider having outdoor bike racks installed around your home. No one likes to trip over bikes lying on the ground, and the moisture can make them rust faster. outdoor bike racks keep bikes upright and when installed permanently give you something to lock your bicycle to for security.
